Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 25, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Ginloo (“we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies — including browser localStorage — on our website and dashboard. It supplements our
Privacy Policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. “Similar technologies” include local storage and session storage. They help the Service keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used.
2. What we actually use
| Item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Login token (localStorage) | Keeps you signed in to the dashboard and associates requests with your account. Strictly necessary. | Until you log out or clear site data. |
| Preferences (localStorage) | Stores display settings such as light/dark theme and cached profile details. Functional. | Until you clear site data. |
| PostHog analytics (cookies/localStorage) | Product analytics: page visits, sign-ups, and feature usage so we can improve Ginloo. After you sign up, events may be linked to your account. | Up to about 1 year, per PostHog defaults. |
| Cashfree checkout | The Cashfree payment script may set its own cookies during checkout for payment security and fraud prevention. | Per Cashfree's policy. |
Loading the site also makes standard requests to content delivery networks (Google Fonts and Iconify), which receive your IP address and browser details as part of serving fonts and icons. We do not use advertising cookies or ad trackers.
3. Third parties
PostHog (analytics) and Cashfree (payments) set the third-party cookies or storage described above, under their own privacy policies. No other third-party trackers are embedded.
4. Your choices
Your browser settings let you block or delete cookies and site data. Blocking or clearing the login token will sign you out, and blocking strictly necessary storage may prevent the dashboard from working. You can also use browser privacy features or extensions to limit analytics.
5. Consent
Strictly necessary storage (such as the login token) is required for the Service to function and is used on the basis of providing the Service you request. By continuing to use the site with analytics enabled, you consent to the analytics storage described above; you can limit it at any time using the browser controls in Section 4.
6. Changes
We may update this policy when our practices or providers change. Check the “Last updated” date above.
