Terms of Service

Last updated: September 2, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Ginloo's website, dashboard, Telegram bot, and related services (together, the “Service”), operated under the name Ginloo (“we,” “us,” “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Ginloo is operated by Ashish Prakash.

1. The Service

Ginloo helps you track expenses, income, bills, loans, savings goals, and related financial information. Features include text, voice, and receipt-photo entry via Telegram, dashboards, reminders, statements and reports, and paid subscription plans. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, giving reasonable notice when practicable.

2. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You agree to:

One person should not maintain multiple accounts to abuse free tiers, trials, limits, or promotions.

3. AI-assisted entry — verify your data

Ginloo uses artificial intelligence to transcribe voice notes, read receipts, and turn your messages into structured entries. AI output can contain mistakes (for example, a misread amount or category). You are responsible for reviewing and correcting entries. The Service is a tool for organization and insight — it is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and it does not connect to or move money from your bank accounts.

4. Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to violate law; harm others; send spam; probe, scrape, or overload our systems; reverse engineer except where permitted by law; circumvent access controls or usage limits; upload malware; or record or process unlawful transactions. We may investigate and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or create risk.

5. Your content & data

You retain rights to the information you submit (“Your Content”). You grant us a license to host, process, back up, and display Your Content only as needed to run, secure, and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of amounts, categories, and labels you enter or approve.

6. Our intellectual property

The Service itself — including the Ginloo name, logo, software, design, and content we create — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, or use our branding, without our written permission.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties — including Telegram (bot messaging), Cashfree (payments), and AI providers (voice and receipt processing). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them. If a third-party service becomes unavailable, related features may be affected.

8. Subscriptions & fees

9. Availability & force majeure

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We are not liable for delay or failure to perform caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including internet or hosting outages, failures of third-party services (such as Telegram, payment processors, or AI providers), power failures, strikes, natural disasters, acts of government, or force majeure events.

10. Maintenance & changes to the Service

We may perform maintenance, release updates, or modify features from time to time. Where a change materially reduces core paid functionality, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION, THAT AI-GENERATED ENTRIES WILL BE ACCURATE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) INR 2,000 (TWO THOUSAND INDIAN RUPEES), EXCEPT WHERE LAW DOES NOT ALLOW SUCH A CAP. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS LIMITS RIGHTS THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE CONSUMER PROTECTION LAW.

13. Indemnity

You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims and costs arising from Your Content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service or delete your account from the dashboard at any time; deletion permanently removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, risk, or legal requirements. Provisions that by nature should survive (e.g., disclaimers, limitations, indemnity) survive termination.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms by posting a new “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notifying you by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where your explicit consent is required by law.

16. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, you agree to first contact us at support@ginloo.com so we can try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be referred to arbitration by a sole arbitrator under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, conducted in English, with the seat of arbitration in India. Subject to the foregoing and to any mandatory consumer rights you may have (including under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019), the competent courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction.

17. General

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any right is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
